And Raynell Williams is facing an Italian right now at the Workman's Gym for boxing. Go Raynell!!! Go USA!!! Bring home that gold!!!

Hell yeah, son!!! Raynell just whooped ass 9-1. He'll be advancing. He was like a little Sugar Ray Leonard or Mini Ali. He danced around, was very, very quick, had blazing handspeed, and was able to shoot sharp counters (potshot). Good stuff.
GO USA!!!

That's in my top 5, but my favorite events are both boxing and men's basketball. Swimming is a very, very close third. Then women's basketball, then women's volleyball (even though May-Treanor and Walsh will murder everybody without virtually any competition).
I also watched synchronized diving earlier today. USA didn't get a medal, and it's no wonder. Compared to China and Russia, they looked out of place. And Gymnastics is exciting, too. As a matter of fact, I've watched everything today, from rowing to badminton. I love the Olympics. Still don't get the horse sports, though...
LMAO at Crowd Pleaser. LOL Sakura, you've gotta answer back to that...
But we all know all eyes are on swimming and the Redeem Team. And go DARA TORRES!!! She deserves a gold...

LOL okay, then.
I saw a little bit of USA women's court volleyball. I hate to say it, but they remind me a lot of the 2004 USA Basketball Team. Extremely talented, physically superior, but they looked like they were lacking experience. A lot of the things they did in their first match aren't gonna serve 'em well in future matches.
Beach volleyball, too. I saw May and Walsh obliterate Japan, then I saw China beat Greece in a pretty closely contested match-up.
So, in essence, I watch both, but more beach volleyball.

I like both but I like court Volleyball more. Idk, I just think Cuba just came with it more. All the sets were really close like 23 - 25 and 24 - 25

Oh, I thought it was the men who lost today. Yeah, I figured they'd lose a match or two, eventually. Wait, isn't this only their second or third match? But, yeah, it's just the inexperience we speak of. Once they get the ball rolling and start trusting each other, they'll be more consistent.
But I still can't believe what I just saw. Everton Lopes (Brazil) didn't get credit for a CLEAR knockdown against a Kazakh guy whose name I don't feel like spelling out. That basically gave the Kazakh the match. It was 7-9, but Lopes should have tied it, and probably would have even won it on the judges score cards. Damn ref.
