Bboy and Breaking? - 08-03-2008, 06:22 PM

Alright, from what I heard bboy and break dancing is 2 completely different types of things. One is style, the other is power. Is this true? Can anyone clarify the differentiation between these two?

Who the hell told you that?

They're the same thing. One is just a media-coined term.. like Quann said. And it's "b-boying" for future reference on proper grammar.

Breakdancer - some fool doin coffee grinders, windmills, and...the worm -.-

Bboy - An artist who uses the body as a paintbrush, the floor as the canvas, and moves rhythmically to create a masterpiece.

lol? Y'all act like that hasn't been said before..

Even though essentially they're the same thing. There isn't a "difference" in so much that the names are different. A name is a name. YOU define the dance and the title, not the other way around.

you guys are idiots. They are the same.

what the fuck do you think the "b" infront of b-boy is? omg... you people are too obsessed with turning breaking into your own thing. Its a moldable dance based purely on the person who is dancing. Its not something set in stone, which is why bboying is still alive and strong to this day.
