They've gotta do another season, maybe when the whole writers' strike business is over and done with we might see one? It'd rake shit-loads of money...why won't they? Also, has anyone noticed that each element has been taken to the next level...except air.

Water - > Blood-bending
Fire - > Lightning
Earth - > Metal-bending
Air - > ?

Idk what happens to Azula. Katara just chained her ass up and left her. I bet she just got left there because nobody liked or trusted her and she ended up pissing and shitting on herself until she lost her mind as she starved to death. Yeah, I go in depth.

Oh yeah, fuck the ending. Avatar ends up with Katara and Zuko ends up with Mai? Fuck that. Fuck the kiss at the end, they could've just hugged. Bitch ass corny ass Nickelodeon....

I forgot to mention at the end it says "THE END". That pretty much closed off the storyline.

M. Night Shyamalan looks like Michael Jackson right before he lost his blackness. Description of the movie sounds interesting though. I was just thinking there could be a live-action movie for it lol.

Wow... they couldn't have made a bigger cop out of an ending... in the last four episodes he magically meats some ancient beast which tells him how to bend energy... and instead of killing the fire lord he takes his bending away?

Sorry that was about the wackest way they could have ended Avatar. Especially for a series that had been so adult up to that point (some of you may or may not remember several minor characters have died up to this point such as the rebel leader Katara was all <3 for), the episodes should have led to a finally which highlighted how difficult it was for Aang to do what he didn't want to do but knew he had to do... kill the damn fire lord.

Instead they just threw out some last minute bullshit to make it safe for kiddies.

Plus they show approximately 2seconds of Iro raping shit on screen.... after building him up SOOOOO MUCH while he was in prison... absolute fucking weaksauce.. It felt to me like they just wanted to rush an ending out to meet their deadlines and give fans a mediocre but satisfying finale.

Oh and that entire speech sequence where like... the audience is somehow a perfect split of the nations... all wearing colors... come on do I look like a fucking retard?

Seriously...

So irritated by the finale...

theres gunna be a book 4? prolly have to do with shit of what the giant turtle said. energy force? yeah.
so the avatar and his buddies would probly find a whole new set of bending from a high level secret orginization or summthing.

Well put. And ur right, Iroh shouldve gotten more screentime to show his badassness. They hyped him up so much and then....we get ONLY 2 seconds of rape-ass.....WTF IS THAT?!?! I wanted to see him beast hordes of firebenders. And as for aang, i was hoping that he would finally learn how to lightning bend against azula/fire lord ozai...but all he did was do a horrible job or redirecting lightning and ended up hurting himslef instead of aiming it at the fire lord.

That's like saying he should be able to metal-bend...the Avatar doesn't necessarily have each element to the ultimate degree. Only a few select fire-benders can lightning-bend, just like to my knowledge only Toph can metal-bend.

Redirecting lightning is another story because it's just applying a water-bending philosophy to fire-bending.

Bah whatever to all that, I just hope the movie is just as if not even more epic. And who knows, they might give Iroh more ownage-time

Lol. Madd I see your point but I kinda disagree. You're right about that last part with the speech though, I was like "wtf, airbenders?" But for real the point of him not killing the fire lord was to maintain peace and not violence. It wasn't safe for kiddies, they talked about killing him for a good minute lol. Don't you remember the assassination of melon lord?

Btw the reason he "messed up" the lightning bend is because he didn't want to kill him. He redirected it to the sky and got damaged a little because he hesitated.

the rock machine gun that ang did was dope, but i think they should have made the fight longer... not just 10 mins. make it like an anime where they fight and lose like 10 gallons of anime blood. then at the end they wear bandages and all wounds mysteriously go away.

but yea they part after the fight was pretty stupid, and i thought that when aang did that mind thing it would have killed the firelord
