Since it is queer (true to the definition) it naturally will make you feel uncomfortable. I found myself uncomfortable with a lot of stuff until I really gave it a chance. I 'came out' kicking and screaming.

Either way, I've already expressed in this thread that I have been intimate with both sexes. I just think you guys are less comfortable seeing it than you idealistically wish you were. It's queer and it makes most of you uncomfortable to see, while you don't disapprove of it on moral grounds, it's still unsettling for you to see two guys grinding, making out, much less more than that. Again, just my intuition, so I could be wrong.
As a bit of an aside, I resent the light that Boondocks casts on homosexuality. My roommate watched the show a lot last semester and I had to leave the room a number of times because it upset me. I am an extremely sensitive individual so don't bother calling me "too sensitive" for any reason, I already know that I am. Too sensitive or not, I don't like the show very much.

i wasnt sure if this was a male-only thread, but wateva. I was reading ur posts MuffinJuice and I got really interested. Im queer (i just use queer cuz it describes me best..more on tha ladies side ya dig) and although I love the boondocks, church was/is the one place that upsets me the most when it comes to being homo. However, if you feel like a girl, you might not be as gay as you think- you could simply just psycologically identify as a female and be in a mans body- uk, like transsexual/transgendered people? and yes, gender and sexuality are not hand in hand. For instance, there are males who identify as lesbian(no not the straight guys who really love pussy). The biggest thing you have to focus on is self-acceptance, which may take a hell of a long time (ik i did) depending on ur social/family/religious background. So good luck and pm me if u wana talk or anything.
as for the rest of the thread, Americans have such an issue with homosexuality because of the ridiculous religious base this country is founded on- namely, Christianity; which preaches and professes the badness and the immoralness of homosexuality. That belief permiates every facet of mainstream american culture to the extent that the average ignorant motherfucker takes any relationship between guys that isnt overtly obsessed with women and fucking, them as being homosexual. Quite frankly, they wouldnt know truly the first thing about homosexulaity aside from the sex between the same sexes part if it crawled out of their ass and bit them. One can commit "homosexual acts" and still be straight, just like one can commit "heterosexual acts" and still be gay. For you guys that have close friendships with other guys, live ur lives and have fun. True friends, no matter what gender, deserve your affections and the random observer can go and kick rocks.
Much Love&Peace
