well if hinting isn't working, being blunt can work but cautiously. also, flowers are a huge hint. also usually a huge hit if the feeling is mutual.

If you get nervous just keep moving the conversation, the further into the conversation you get the less nervous you get. let your feelings be the beat you move to, if you freeze up, just imagine some music, or just remember how you feel about her.
