Strains have different quantities of the active chemicals in marijuana (thc isnt the only one, but i cant be bothered listing them all and giving an in depth explanation.) Strains come in three main varieties, Indica, Sativa, and Cross-breeds. Depending on the type of high you want different strains will be better or worse for you. Skunky weeds tend to have quite lethargic highs and make you crash on your ass for hours, Hazey weeds tend to make you giggly and dizzy. It's usually a hit or miss unless you can be guaranteed that you are getting the strain you think you are.

it can be pretty expensive depending on what kind of judge you go as, but u get access to places you wouldnt normally go and a lot of free samples and merchandise. well worth it i reckon, i've done it 3 times.

Actually, you get a lot more out of it than the free samples, one time there was a trip to a hash factory. I've been in huge grow-rooms, learned a hell of a lot about growing at home and what the best equipment is to use for the type of yields you want. You also get access to a lot of events whilst the cup is oin that regular people cant go to, there's a lot of cool shit involved in being a cup judge.

You don't have to know anything, you just buy the judges pass. They usually do free courses on weed to give you a good knowledge of what you should be looking for from a good strain

Fuck that sounds good, are you planning on doing it again anytime soon? Cause if you're up for it i wouldn't mind coming along in a couple of years to see Amsterdam and smoke some fine chiba.

To be honest, I may well be up for it at any point, depends on money situation and state of mind at the time. It's usually around november time, so i'm usually good to go if i fancy it.

bboy.org shall have an international FIELD TRIP TO AMSTERDAM for our 4/20 weekend!!!! that's like PERFECT ![]() |

I bboy to discover and extend my physical abilities, to better understand the correlation of music and dance, and to further personalize the culture of bboying. What do you bboy for?
Hip Hop is a revolution of artistic standards. A revolution of music from beat-making, dance from bboying, poetic knowledge from freestyling, drawn/sprayed art from graffiti. Who're still aiming to revolutionize? Or are these simply standards of a newer genre nowadays? -Unofficial Deignorizer |
