hi i just had a quick question. im going to install windows XP over my windows ME. now i remeber you have to options. do a clean copy or do one over your curtain windows with all the same settings. im going to do a CLEAN copy. but if i dont like XP can i uninstall it and go back to my windows ME? and if i put in the systems restore can i go back to windows ME. or once i do a clean copy of XP is it always gonna be like that? thanks

i think so, it will only be xp, but once you go xp, you don't go back, espcially if it's ME!!

yea ME sucks, i used to have it, and like l3_l3oy_trance said. ITS PURE EEEEEEVIL! lol and no u cant go back cause the clean install cleans everything, including the system restore files on ME. u can just install ME back wit the CDs that came wit the computer or just buy another copy.

You'd be better off going to a specialist forum for this.

There are a few good ones (none of which I can remember the addresses for) but a quick google search should find one.

Also try the Microsoft website. They have some very useful stuff on there.
If you've bought XP there might even be some kind of tech support to make use of.
