Music Video Downloads... -

Does anyone know where I can dowload LEGAL music videos for free?
There's a couple I want on my comp so I can watch them offline, but all the video sites I've found are set up so the video plays either on a page of the site, or opens a playlist in WMP, which in turn plays it from a server.
I don't want to use any P2P style programs as they are just asking for trouble when it comes to hackers and malicious software.
Ideally I'd like fairly high resolution video so I can play it fullscreen without losing much detail (if any).

There are no legal free downloads unless it's prolly like a preview thing.......just save the ones that plays off the site, I do that sometimes using Mozilla and its relatively easy, dunno about IE though.

yeah..i dont think you'll find any legal downloads. all youll get is illegal downloads or free streaming videos straight from the site.

I've found plenty of free streams.
I know legal free downloads exist - I'm just having an absolute mare finding them.
Not been able to save the ones that play as a stream. WMP won't save them, and the streams tend to play with obscure file names, as yet I've not managed to get the file onto my comp.
The only ones that are downloadable are "playlists" which in turn link to streams.
I tried iFilm and about a dozen others.
One of them even had a 1500K/s stream which was amazing quality, but without an incredibly fast connection it just looks like a slideshow.

i've seen programs that can rip streaming media onto your computer, i've never used them but i can get you some links if you want....
i remeber in the old media player, 9 i think, you could "save media as", but i think microsoft caught onto the power of that option...

Yea - the "save" option in the file menu is almost permanently greyed out.

It's still P2P with all the problems that come with that.
Thanks, but I wanted a legal download for a few reasons.
No hackers, less chance of virii, and no chance of a load of cops hauling off my computer (rare, but it does happen)
