yes. the other elements are the dj, MC, and graffiti.

yesss..i thought you would know the elements if you were on this site for even just a day. its what this sites about. the hip hop elements.

All right, so most of us know that hip hop has 4 elements. Bboy,graff, dj, and mc, but I was on some hip hop website a while ago and it said there were 5 elements, the fifth was beat boxing. Does anyone know anything about this?

ummm i think beat boxing is the one where ur like making sounds wit ur mouth covered wit ur hands. like u see in some movies, ummm like........... well i cant remember one, OH yea! 8 mile is one, like when they all get together in a parking lot and they start freestyling? well the DJ guy starts making a beat wit his hands and mouth! i think thats beat boxing

there are only four, but some people make various things as a fifth, such as this site, it places knowledge as the fifth element, correct me if i'm worng....

yeh beatboxing is an element of hip hop and theres more elements than that

but yeah mc dj graff bboy are the 4 main ones

and im the 5th element of hip hop

More than four elements exist, it was a good concept while it lasted, but is not valid today.

There's no better online resource for all things beatbox.

The 4 elements is, according to many, a bit of a fantasy. I heard one person call it a "rocksteady ideal".
Don't get hung up on it.

As I see it it's a loose description of the MAIN elements of hiphop artforms, and makes for some cool graff pieces and teeshirt designs.

hey well isnt beat boxing sort of like DJin? i mean ur doing the same! making beats and sounds! maybe thats wat happen, since theres so much similarities in those two elements, maybe they got like mixed together and just because DJ
