Hey everyone, Syndrome here. We've been having heavey discussions in our Multicultural class, and we went from talk about our not having Senior Class trips to how our school is constantly downed and not givin a chance because we have so many fights, and how "everyone" that goes to denbigh is bad or a trouble maker. And my friend Thomas was like we should make some pertitions to have a wall for graffiti artist to express themselves. Also we should have something for art in general. Woodside High is another school in the Area. It is known for its artistic ability. Denbigh High is known for its fighting. I want our school and my class ('06) to make a lasting impression. Can anybody give me ideas on writing up a pertition?
well seriously ya need someone who can write pretty well to write up the petition. also getting someone who is involved in student government would be nice to have on your side. just write up the petition with what you are trying to accomplish and get as many signatures as possible. also any parents who would like to get involved would help the cause also. get them to write letters to the principle about how they would love to see the kids of this class leaving a lasting impression with the school. also don't use graffiti in the petition. use a wall for artistic expression. that word graffiti is a bad looking word to authority types. good luck let us know how it goes

yeh what flobo sed is true...graffiti is a bad word to use...
if u say graffiti to someone then they will think vandalism an how bad it is. say a place to let peoples artistic thoughts wild or sum shit that sounds good
Be on your best behavior boys, i will only be gone a minute...
The best thing is to make sure it gets lots of support. Whether its amazingly written or not, the school cant deny it if you have tons of parents signatures on it. If possible, a few teachers signatures would surely help you out... even if they're forged haha.
also make sure u know who you need to direct this petition to (ie: principle, board of ed, senator) u need to know where itll b most effective, where itll actually get attention, where itll work, and if it doesnt go against that peice of paper u signed in the begining of your freshman year at your school. Cuz u may not b able to write petitions against ur school, so make sure u get all the insider info befor eu start this. Do some research. Best of luck~
if ur in the us...lol which im not sure u are...but might be for a lot more places.
student signatures will mean nothing, so wont anyone under age, u need adults to back you. petitions mean nothing when its a bunch of kids, if that meant anything u wouldnt need the petition in the first place
also its not just a petition, u need to explain the benefits of the board...and control a lot of problems about people taking offense to it, rivals getting heated for it n shit like that
also remember its not up to the school, its a lot more people than that
Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.
Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.
