im learning bboy without a teacher and in many videos, i see people spinning in an anticlockwise direction even do their 6 step anticlockwise ... however i do them clockwise ... is this "unbboy"? should i change it?

Its personal preference.

I go anticlockwise, but all the guys I bboy with go clockwise... It doesnt really matter.

Its completely natural!
dont worry, just make sure all of ur footwork, powermoves, bla bla, is clockwise as well. otherwise you wont be able to combo many moves!

therefore anticlockwise makes sense
