not had chance to peep ya ish yet, but big ups fa representin yaself man, i been playin guitar for 16 years, my band 'torn from eden' is currently workin on our first studio EP. my biggest advce is to play as many shows as you can, the more rep you guys get the more doors will open to you, A&R representatives will have more interest if you already have ya name out on the street, you need to show somebody you are a marketable product if you are going to get a deal, i'm not sayin sell-out and compromise yourselves, just make yourselves as desirable as you can and you will have a greater chance of landin a deal. good luck man, hope things work out for you guys, i'ma peep ya sites and leave some feed later.
It's kinda like it, but you have to get together more often than a crew. But it's really really fun, and you get to make yourself look like you really are some one lol
Pat Mgee's band came to our school dance last weekend. it was cool. 2 years ago for the same annual dance we had Sev come. (think the old pepsi commercial. the monestary... "first you say whoa! then you say yea! come on on put your hands in the air!!" it wasnt as cool.
we had a buncha amateur garage bands come too, the real difference between the two types, pat mgee and the garage bands is that i couldnt understand the garage ones. they yelled so loud i couldnt hear the lyrics.
dont do that.
being able to play well is like 30% of a good band imo. i like the lyrics and the sound of the voice.
dont show off how hard you can slam ur git box
