i just bought this crap is it any good i install the sopht ware and everything but when i turn it on it looks at me.... and when i do a fast movement it sorta not fast enough.... is there something better out there that aint 1000 dollars.

I have one of those. Was it the 20$ one? That's the one I have. I've had it for about 7 months now, and it's already starting to get blurry. I'd recommend a Veo, except a more expensive one. I'm sure those are bound to last a lot longer.

Any camera you buy in the $30 region will have a fairly chep sensor in it and as such you can't expect great quality. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

Most webcams run at around 30fps, which is more than enough for a smooth picture. The thing that will slow it down is your computer. If you want a totally smooth picture that moves as you move, you're going to need quite a lot of processing power.

what would you recomend stiff??? and how much are we talking about??? i dont wanna spend over 100 dollars on a cam that i just want to use to post vids and pics.

yeah i did buy the 20 bucks one i was just desperate to get a vid up but i havent had the time right know to do it. have you posted or made a vid?? how did it look could the cam catch up with the moves?

Well, I never had the chance to make movies. But when I did, I got to make a 8 second one. It wasn't that great. The frames were a little slow. I think you can set your settings to make the video longer. Play with it a little.

i got a couple of clips up in the gallery wit the webcam... check em theyre a lil bit slow but ok i guess
