ive been noticing that a lot more stuff is spam now. . . seems like maybe ppl might be afraid to voice their openion cus it might be spam? i dunno .. just noticing . . .anyone else notice? delet this if u wanna mods. .

nah... people on this site are way too worried about their stupid post count... they think it means something, so they post pointless stuff.... now, as they post as much as they can, other people might think that the only reason that those posts are made is so people will have a larger post count...

really, if you think about it, those who complain about spammers are just as narrow-minded as those who spam to begin with... none of you guys pay to access this site, and neither is this the only website on the internet where you can talk to other people, so i don't see why so many people keep on battling this issue...

i dont think the number of posts has anything to be worried about. Know that a lot of people are thinking that more and more things are spam i think that they are more afraid that they will get banned rather than to increase the number of posts. It sucks to be banned trust me ive been banned from websites before. The number of posts to me is just a number of participation in this website not any race or any of that stuff.

if the number of posts are down, then its just in word up n general discussion. the post count has been down anywhere else on the site for a mad long time...people just come to spam or give shit about bboyin

i have noticed the number of posts went down in moves section and freestyle forums. I havent seen many hate posts lately its like before i get to them the post gets erased or the person got banned. At least its a sign of mods working the area.

people are certainly not afraid to voice their opinion b'coz of spamming...I notice that even if someone doesnt have an opinion on the thread they saw....they will just try their best to find an opinion to help out the topic starter.....which always turn out to be a very lame opinion....the reason?to get more post.....and also if their opinion has been stated at the same thread they still voice out their opinion like ppl wont understand it the first time....so,i dont think ppl is afraid of voicing out their opinion b'coz of spamming....now,i betta run before someone charge me of spamming....

It seems that the forum is the biggest part of this site. Move forums a ok but people end up going to general discussion more than actually breakdancing. Screw the forums. Go out and do what makes you a bboy instead of chatting on the internet. I gave up on the forums because I think that they are pointless and time consuming and that defeates the perpose of the site.. to pormote breakdancing. Ask yourselfs this, what do you do more, practise or post on General Discussion?

If u guys are worried about people spamming on the General Discussion and Word Up forums to boost their post count then ask Tane or someone to modify it so that posting on the General Discussion and Word Up forums doesn't add to ur post count. I'm pretty sure that can be done. But thats just my idea.

nah, i say this site adopts a karma system (similar to the one used at sites such as gamefaqs) and get rid of the post count feature...

i don't know ... i break and i practice that daily - i still find time to get on to bboy.org from time to time and mainly hang around in the bgirl and word up forum as well... doesn't mean i don't break, just means that i got tired of talking about the same moves over and over again . Ifi'm gonna post in the moves forum i want to be talking about something a little more interesting than six step, mills and flares... breaking is about more than that for me. But i've got friends on the site and i like to talk to them, that's all. Doesn't make me any more or less of a bgirl. As for spam, i remember people compaining about the site going downhill last january - yes, that's almost a year ago. It'll change depending on who's around. I think so long as we keep Anubis, Lise , Moochy, TinyD , Diesel and Soviet, not to mention Stiffy , Fstylz , Chucky and DMD ,the site's gonna stay alive . Sorry if i forgot anybody else ( muffinjuice and so on ) but this isn't a shoutoutpost

Exactly. Although that kinda the same way in the other forums. Everynow and then I see someone from the emceeing forums pop up in the word up and im sitting here wondering 'how come he has 800 posts and i have never seen him before?'

Im happy to say there hasnt been any spam in the graff forum for a long time
