ANY QUESTIONS/COMMENTS/SUGGESTIONS ABOUT THE RULES, POST HERE
If you've just joined, welcome, if not, then this thread won't hold many surprises for you, but please read on.
This thread is going to lay down the ground rules that the mods of this board have come to after some discussion.
I'm going to make a second sticky thread to discuss these issues in.
SPAM
For new users - SPAM is any post that has no point or purpose. If you are going to post, keep it relavent to the thread, and more than just "haha" or "i agree".
Any SPAM posts, or threads will be deleted by one of the mods.
SPAM threads
SPAM threads will be treated as Spam posts are.
Game threads
Game threads will be allowed, but only of the type with a theme of getting to know other users. Things such as first/last game and the likes will be deleted.
Abuse threads
Will be deleted. Anything from "Yo Momma" threads, to "Abuse the person above you" threads are included here.
Niche topics
This includes subjects like Street racing - Modifying cars - Sports - etc.
The primary function of this forum is for general discussion. After much discussion it has been decided that "General" is to mean anything that applies to a large percentage of the forum users. As such, some specific subjects with little general interest may be deleted.
There are forums on the internet dealing with the majority of subjects, and as such if you want to discuss them you should go there.
Innapropriate posts
Under no circumstances sould anyone post abusive remarks, wether racial, religeous, sexist or anything else.
Any posts of pornography (and scantilly clad men/women) will be deleted immediately and the user reported to the Admin who will likely ban them.
This also extends to "hot women / men" posts. The most recent one has just been closed, and any new ones will be deleted.
This forum is used by boys, girls, most races and a range of ages from early (and even pre) teens to late 20's and older. As such ALL content must be suitable for viewing by all these groups. Anything objectionable will be deleted.
Repeat threads
If you post a thread that is a repeat of another thread that is visible on page one of the General Discussion forum, it will be deleted.
Please take a look over the first few pages of the board to see if a thread has alraedy been posted. Even better, use the SEARCH function.
If neither of these result in a thread along the same lines as yours being active in the last 2 or 3 weeks, then post your thread.
These rules have been discussed by all the mods of this forum, and as such will be enforced by them.
We have come to these rules for two reasons.
1> It is us who have to keep these boards in good order, and without some kind of guidelines it makes that job a nightmare.
2> There are a number of users who contribute almost nothing to this site and post almost exclusively in pointless threads.
It is these same people that tend to post innapropriate material aswell.
This simply makes our jobs harder, and to be honest, we don't want that.
