Technically speaking it's more energy efficient to not eat animals. You would get less energy out of feeding grain to an animal and then eating the animal compared to just eating the grain.

I learned this in 10th grade bio! Food chains and pyramids FTW! Same reason why blue whales, the largest living animal on earth eat something so small like plankton, shrimp, and other small sea creatures vs eating other whales or seals, etc etc.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the
people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who
don't. Believe everything happens for a reason.. If you
get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it
changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would be worth it.

Actually it doesn't apply to us humans because our bodies are not built to derive all our proteins etc from grains. We need certain materials from animals or close substitutes to build our bodies specific amino acids, chemicals, etc.

Now besides the fact that you won't be eating proccessed animals, what is the benefit of no delicious meat? Why would someone want to be a vegetarian or vegan for that matter?
People become vegetarians for one or more of three reasons:

1) To lose weight
2) To protect animal rights
3) To follow a specific religious practice

There'll be a way less of a risk for diabetes and certain heart conditions. Plus, you'll look good.

Put a little pep in your step...

well, i've certainly met women before who kept a good figure while still being vegetarian, but to this day i have NEVER met a buff vegetarian guy. all of the vegetarian guys i've met are either scronny or overweight.

edit: right now, i'm eating a mouth-watering juicy pork-chop at 3:07 in the afternoon. America: Fuck Yeah.

I don't know why so many people hate seafood these days... Fish, clams, squid, octopus, lobster, shrimp FTW.
