yo, guys What are ur thoughts on krumping as Christians. I do not want to direspect all the krumpers out there but I beleive it is wrong as a Christian to watch or participate in this dance as it is a spiritual dance (however a bit demonic). There have been many stories about the "Holy Spirit" shaking up people during this dance but I thnk it is a bit more sinister. I appreciate ur views!

I think my advice right now is, if it really is a spiritual thing like you say, to stay completely away from it
Other than that I don't have much wisdom on it, heh..

Sounds a bit like staying away from rock music because some bands have demonic influences. I don't know a great deal about krumping, but I do appreciate the musicality I see when its done well.

Check it out bro.. God is the creator.. The Devil is the imitator... So really if you like crumpin' or if Christians are crumpin' to God with the right heart about it and they feel the holy spirit come upon them, praise God. Amen! I say to dancing like David did.. Really we should take back what the devil perverts.

you guys dont know what you are talkin about serious all this religion and dont make too much mind trip oh my god if i dont do this i am gonna BURN ALL THE ETERNITY such thing as the eternity dont exist is just a lot of time and common read books but read everything not only the thing that you like to hear common i tired to see al this there is another one who is called bboy muslim i mean common are you guys serious Your god is the same of the Jewish folk and jesus ok was saying a lot of good things about humility and this is a thing very important in life but dont complain if there is someone that hate you of coure you call yourserf the follow of the true someone of another religion can think so what i am a stupid God is the same and the word god is a human invention the litgh the universe is god and also the darkness is god and everything is god also a rock also animals they are not stupid or human are superior they just different what the fuck

If you guys are currently looking for a great read, check out "Beginning to Pray" by Anthony Bloom. Its a short book but every page is SO powerful. God Bless.

I'm a Roman Catholic, I was actually blessed by the pope at the age of seven.

But it wasn't until I found bboying and Hip-Hop as a way of life that I was able to see a reasonable way to have passion in my life and it's helped me stay on a better course then where I was. It distracts me from uglier things in life.

Anyone else who's had a similar experience?

I am cristian, but my religion is not to interfere my opinion.
First of all.
You represent yourself, your dance, your culture.
If one or two dancers belive in Evil, okay, they are demoniacs dancers... but you are not.
It is a vision that you need to have.
Don't think one or two will represent everybody, that is what a ignorant think.
That is my point of view.
Culture is respect.
Respect yourself, respect your and the other culture.

You're highly misinformed, whoever told you that is an idiot. Krumping is VERY similar to bboying in its origins and the meaning behind the dance. That's just like people saying that bboys who get caught up in the moment are possessed by demons or something. Not the case at all.
