People loved it, some people hate it (i don't get it... probaby because they don't want to seem as if they're hopping on the bandwagon) but I'd say thats gotta be my favorite movie of the year. I want to watch it again....

A lot better than the first, but the whole college thing and gags in the middle of the fights really let it down IMO.

Basically they still made the same mistakes as the first movie. The bad guys died way too easily.

*SPOILER WARNING

For example, some giant vaccuum guy made of 5 different industrial strength bulldozers is sucking up a pyramid (while everyone struggles to defeat him). Suddenly a battlecruiser with some lazer cannon ive never seen before, in one-hit, knocks the gigantic monster robot down as if it were made of cardboard.

Just how long have the humans been sitting there with this weapon, and doing nothing with it?

A better ending would have been where the fallen and megatron actually formed into one super robot and had an epic battle between beardyman-optimus and fallen-megatron.

I would have liked it more if it was more like Independence Day. Rather than sending in a college dude and his girlfriend, and 30 marines (with assault rifles wtf?, how about rocket launchers???) to take on 50 robots.

I think if the humans were really concerned about their earth being taken over, they would cancel the Iraq war and send every damned thing they got.

I absolutely lovvveddd it. I was hoping for a fusion at the end of the movie, just like the animated series i watched when i was a little kid. And there was :[), i dont know why optimus drop his ancient parts though, that would have owned. and yea i was a bit suprised how stupid the n.e.s.t. organization didn't use those jets to kill that decepticon giant constructicon so easily, and i loved the college gags, when Sam wrote those symbols during astronomy i think

and remember when they were in egypt, every missile missed Shia and Megan lmao

Most of my friends that are actually into transformers don't really like it. They say the action scenes are cool, but the story was lame. I don't think I'll be watching this one anyway though, wasn't planning on it.

watching autobots say, "punk ass decepticon" and sayin pussy and bitch doesn't fit in the realm and thats cornball... last half is nothing but shitloads of explosions and shooting for a full hour... im sick of michael bays signature directing technique... epic slow motion scenes and hella rotating camera scenes is like watching bad boys 2 with robots... they ruined jetfire for me... soundwave was alrite but he didnt do anything else... story semed rushed, even the characters wanted to get straight to the point... and "urban" cars... haha...

theres things i liked and things i hated... plus i watched it in imax so the experience was kinda ruined because the screen was so big it was unwatchable with all these quick cuts and flying metal... it was overwhelming... except for when megan fox changing into the white dress and there was a panty shot in my face... that was scrumptious... and i wish i was back in college and i was going to that school cuz good lord those girls were bangin...!!

all in all its worth watching once on the big screen... not in imax... peace...!!
