You guys have to remember, even though the show is called "America's Best Dance Crew", MTV isn't trying to find America's best dance crew. They're trying to find a bunch of crews with variety in their styles and personality in their dancers, so that hopefully they can turn one of them into a marketing giant like Jabbawockeez.

Think about it, we would LOVE to see a real competition, where they actually pick all the best crews and put them in situations where they really show off their dance skills, but it wouldn't be as marketable. A season of nothing but choreo and bboys would get dull to the teenage girls of the world, because they wouldn't see the little details and understand the dance like we do.

I like ABDC as a show, because sometimes, really good routines and dancers come out of it. As a competition, though, it's bullshit. It's rigged, it's scripted, it's just not real.

Enjoy ABDC as a TV show, not a competition.
