Yo, dope to see some peepsr reading this. Look at feels just like "feels" in boogaloo, or any other style for that matter. Its like having a certain attitude or theme when u tut. Break away and dissolve is apllying a lot of liquidy / digit type transitions. It gives the impression the tuts are shattering and re-forming into new shapes. Kinda can have an almost claymation look sometimes. Smooth to me is primarily a less jerky dimestop and slightly more faster tempo then its cousin mechanical. Where as mechanical should flow like a machine jerking through its positions, all machines are not perfect and have flaws or quirks in the way they move, with smoother tuts ur going for a perfectly isolated and conformed look. Like a computer model just jumped out of ur computer and started building around u.
By all means these are my personal defanitions for the way I do it, please do not take what I say and preach it like its the rules of tutting, because the most important rule of all is, if it looks good to u, ur doing it right!
Yo Justfilo, I realy cant tell u what feel ur doing wif that, only u can describe ur own ish. If I were to take a stab I would say ur ish has a very flow or liquidy aproach to it. Everything kinda slides and morphes into the shapes. U dont utilize a dimestop, and thats not necessarily bad, U got ur own way of doing it bro, and thats what counts.
I sappose the major dif between styles and feels would be styles are actual foundation and concepts, feels are an attitude or over all look u put over that. Like when an animater tries to animate as a creature (taco=snake).
I hope this cleares things up. I realy dont post clips anymore but If I ever see any of u in person feel free to ask me
