What to wear - 10-23-2006, 10:54 AM
so i was wondering how everyone dresses to go to jams and such...being in chicago, there arent any popping events so i jus grab a pair of jeans and a tee shirt or a polo.....i usually wear my adidas superstars or my classic reeboks for a hat i throw on my tribal fitted or the beanie with a bill...idk whats its called but yea how do yall dress

I wear ADIDAS from top to bottom wear some silver to look cool lol

And i would wear an adidas cap and wear it sideways ...

Youre doing a great injustice by wearing crap like that. Every Funkstyler knows that you have to wear some hush puppies, derby, and suit! Get with the program or stop doing this dance! You didnt know that judges ALSO judge on how funky you dress??? C'mon!

You probably mean a fedora, derby/bowler, or a newsie (maybe?)

Whenever I'm going out and I KNOW I'll be doing some popping, I'll usually pop on a dress shirt/pants my Stacy Adams (good substitute for pups since I can't find any) and either a derby or fedora, sometimes i'll rock a vest.

I wear a golf cap, usually, slacks and a button-up shirt. Sometimes a tie. Not too cool, I guess =P

Got some shell-toes I'm fond of that I wear lately.

I rock Stacy's prefer them to pups myself. Depending on where i'm dancin i'll go anywhere from smart casual to a suit. like loose fittin dress pants though. Oh btw I ALWAYS wear a tie when i'm dancin now, and one of the old 60's shirts with the mad long pointy collar
