Hey Yates, thanks for replying. Seeing that your message was off of the c-walk, i thought I would bring the post to the popping forum. First of all I am not a expert on boogaloo, and i am not from where boogaloo orginated, however I do believe a shootdown is a boogaloo move. (This is mainly for me a yates, but if anyone cares to confirm if i right or wrong feel free.)
If i am wrong about the shoot down, i apologize. Before i wish to speak on this more I have a few questions I wish to ask you.
1.) who taught you to boogaloo?
2.) in what area of Fresno did boogaloo start?
3.) Have you talked to boogaloo sam?
4.) Who told you it was from Fresno?

1) i am teaching myself, the same way sam taught himself. my learning is supplemented with my experiences at jams and videos that i see.

2) i don't know which part of fresno sam lived in, but if this question is meant to somehow discredit my knowledge, then i think you should tell us what street in what city the first person to crip walk lived on. i didn't bring this up because i didn't think it made any difference. i don't have to know where my shirt wat stitched to know how they did it.

As for the c-walk, were off C-walks now. If you read my first post I dont mess with the C-walk. I dont do that shit, I dont know how to do it, and I dont care. I cant name the street or first person, this has nothing to do with the c-walk. As for shoot downs I just put in the Wiggles 3 video. On the section of ground moves he is doing various "shoot downs", if you have it you can read it on the bottom because it says various styles of shoot downs, which are ground moves. I guess Wiggles is full of shit huh? But i didnt need to pull that card to know, because ive been knowing. So I dont know what to tell you! who are you going to believe Yates and Rice or Wiggles? You guys can decide that on your own.

Let me break you off some game suckah. Im from San Francisco California. Home of Strutting. You know Fillmore!!! Not the toy shit you all do but the real shit. How come I can break it down, know different styles, know OG's and many that I dont know, Know the different groups from back in the day and chill with these cats?know the style of dress? Know the areas,etc... I can do some shit on the street and any OG can recognize it. I have reason to believe boogaloo came from somewhere else, and the sources I have are a lot more concrete to me than the internet or going to a "jam" with a bunch of surburban ass posers who dont know shit but think they do.
It blows my mind that you dont possess the knowledge I have about strutting when you come from the HOME of boogaloo.You should be on point with boogaloo if you are serious. I would have thought you could go to the hood and get all the game you need from some OG or random ass dude on the street who was there when it came out, not a jam or video. I learned by watching and being in that sort of enviroment. Im blessed to be where Im from.
Now about the the drama. The reason why I compared the c-walk to popping is because back in the day there was drama, people did die, people did get fucked up....Popping was actually hard back then, now its on some Backstreet boys shit.

There is no reason for a double post.

One of the reasons why Mr. Wiggles put the shootdown in his vol 3 video is because He was learning SugaPop's locking during that time period. (vol 3 was the turning point when he joined the EB's)
