In animation, what your basically trying to do is imitate these stop motion style animation characters. Here are some tips on how you can achieve this:
1- study one of these characters in these movies (go to the site and look at his claymation movie list...u lazy bastard)
2- first follow the body movements and it's style, but stay relaxed
3- now try these movements again, but this time tighten your muscles really tight. This will create a more animated movement that will almost simulate the character. Also apply some stop motion to totally create the illusion.
this is just one technique. In order for you to really achieve good animation, you should first learn how to pop every part of your body and that will give you the better experience to learn animation.

best thing to do is buy his sessions three video. it dosent have alot of animation in it...but enough to grasp the style if you didn't know what it was.
