know where you want your freeze to happen beforehand. if you try to dimestop without some planning, it will look wobbly. also, try gradually flexing going into the stop, then accentuate it with a sharp hit when you start moving again. it adds a cool effect like pressure is building up inside your body, and when you start moving again it is all released at once.
Everyone was a beginner at some point.
