Converse All stars all white. Thats the stuff . It's hard at the toe part too, so it's easier to get on your toe.

Really, its not about the shoes. But in my opinion never where at Cross Trainers or Hiking Shoes (No shit, eh); stuff like that is crap. Go for Classic or Casual shoes. Such as, K-Swiss (Tyte shoes), or Lugz.

poppinrice is the voice of wisdom here. hush puppies rock for dancing.

i wear hush puppies wayne when i dance, but both the wayne and the earl is a good shoe for dancing. i think production stopped on the earl, so it can be tough to secure a pair of those.

the two shoes are basically identical except that one is lace-up and one is slip-on.

gliding is not an illusion when wearing these shoes. you really do float across a dance floor when you wear them.

You want flat soles. That makes it easier. And learn on like concrete or something, cause gliding on like hardwood floor gives you an illusion that you are good, when you really arn't.

Where is the best place to buy Hush Puppies? - 11-09-2004, 02:44 AM

Where is the best place to buy hush puppies? I visited their website, but it didn't seem like they had that many options... What shoe stores carry hush puppies?

Thanx!

You can usually buy hushpuppies from a regular shoe shop, just dont go into a sports store or anything cause they dont usually stock that type of thing just a regular place where old people buy their shoes

in any case...
i havent tried a pair of Puppies so i can't judge here... although even Pete himself says that the EB's wear Puppies.

i'ma get myself a pair when i have the cash though, haha!

but for now i've always stuck to 2 pairs... you'd see me wearing them in my videos.

the one that you'd see me wear the most frequently... is my "dance shoe"... this shoe has seen me thru competitions and even getting first place so. it's the Adidas Attitude High.

and then there's the Nike Air Trainer III.

these kicks have really soft soles... they give pretty good traction and yet they can bend easily, so it's very easy to manuever in them. but that's just my personal opinion.

when i first started poppin', i used to wear a pair of Osiris skateshoes, then moved on to a pair of Globes.
thinking back, they weren't very good for dancing (DUHHH) but i guess i'm a stubborn oaf. haha~!
