This last weekend I was at this club and a few poppers were there and we had our circle. We were all doin our thing and I was waitin to battle someone all night, I had new stuff I been preparin for a long time. Anyway this ghetto dance crew came in and just bustin in our circle doin some whack routine. Then there routine came down to one guy doin this solo ish. I wasnt bout to let this happen so I decided to pull it out now. I had a whistle and a yellow flag like they use in football, so I threw the yellow flag out in the circle and started blowin the whistle and the dude just stood there shocked. I came out doin the wiggles walk and pulled this little tut thing. Then I got on my hands and knee's and slid over there like dog and hiked my leg like I was peeing on him. Erbody was goin crazy and they wudn't mess with me anymore. I went home quite happy and Oh yeah, Please dont bite.

Yeah I got one.

This one dude one time, he came online, and started bragging because he has no one else to brag to. I don't think he understood what the word 'humble' meant, so he started explaining about how he basically ragged on this one dude when he was doing his stuff. Very disrespectful. People like him to need to realize what this dance is really about.

it aint even like that. We had a real circle goin on and these ghetto harlem shakers pepl. came up tryin to make us look stupid. I dont know bout yal but i dont like looking stupid in front of big crowd. and "dont bite", are you serious, have you ever done an arm wave, tutted, backwards glide, if so YOU MUST BE BITING. so STFU. I was talking bout the battling ideas neways. i was wantin to hear yals battlin stories so I gave an example of one of my recent ones. I could give a crap less what you guys think of me. Dang just tryin to find some good stories and you guys have to come and be smart ass's

I'm sorry but those are called universal moves. You can't really be original if you do foundational move. I believe the Wiggles Walk (notice the capitals suggesting a proper name) is a particular move that Mr. Wiggles invented himself. It really isn't a foundational move for anything else, therefore if it is bitten, then you are whoever are the biter.

methinks the more advanced the move is, the more of a bite it is when you bust it out. Wiggles Walk is not like a typical glide bro, you pull a wiggles walk and brag about it, you're not going to get to much respect. Especially if you're battling. I'll bet you there's a rule in the unwritten book of popping etiquette that says don't bite in a battle.

Alright here dick holes, I wont do the wigs walk and talk about anymore. I really hope that makes you wonderfully happy. But getting back to the point does anybody else got any good stories for real. And really tho I wasnt trying to brag about it, It was just something recently. So if any of u peeps got some battlin stories that you can tell in a not bragging manner so no one will flip out It wud be coo to post em.

i was dancing (as one does) on an evening at the holiday resort i was staying in and this guy (local) comes up to me:

guy: we should have a contest?

me: ok

so he goes first....

guy first round: arm wave to body wave, starts shakin the wave (poorly) and then keeps doing it into my face then goes back to where he was standing.

me first round: do some dancing try and mix it up

guy second round: arm wave to body wave, starts shakin the wave (poorly) and then keeps doing it into my face then goes back to where he was standing.

me second round: do some dancing different to my first round

guy third round: arm wave to body wave, starts shakin the wave (poorly) and then keeps doing it into my face then goes back to where he was standing. by this time people are laughing at him.

me third round: do some dancing different to my previous rounds

end of battle.

i shake his hand and say good battle, turn around to get some feedback from my friends, 10 secs later he's (the guy) disappeared. i wanted to talk to him and ask him how long he's been popping for etc. but he'd vanished. much later i asked other locals who knew him, and they said they didn't even no he tried to dance.

i felt sorry for him. everyone else laughed at him.

the point wasnt that you were bragging about the battle, it was that you were dropping the wiggles walk like it was the shit, and though it may be, it's a bite. and biting in battles isnt really the shit.

nice story hit... a bit embarrassing for him! what kinda moves did you drop?

the point is mr. harry popper...

your entire battling technique... is VERY amateurish... try pulling something like that on any experienced dancer and he or she will tear you apart like hungry wolves on that fat kid who loves cake so much. payce.
