Yes, you are disfunctional. I have never heard of this happening to anyone.

Seriously though, you're just not conditioned for it yet. Stamina and endurance come with time and patience. The body isn't used to waving and hitting, but adapts over time.

yea my lil bro had the same problem.. he noticed after about 5 or 10 minutes of practicing armwaves that his shoulders got really tensed up and sore... but as trew said, it goes away with time, once your joints and muscles get used to it. PeAcE!!

are you outta shape? do you exercise? or even stretch out? if not you should start doin dat. when i stop exercising n stretchin out i got tired easily. i mean hella fast. try doing push-ups. lyke 10 everday or every couple hours. you'll get use to da push-ups and when you do a lot of arm movements..ie any arm waves..you wont get tired n sore. that happen to meh in da beginning but after exercising parts i use to pop with..i start to feel sore less n less. so see if that works.

trust me people has nothin to do wit being out of shape.u dont have to go run and do pushups.simple popping is basicaly muscle movements and manipulation.if you just started then of course ur body has to get used to it. but if youve been doing it for a long time then.u just need a rest.that still happens to me.like in 6 hours.

I used to get really really winded after one or two rounds of a battle. This is what i've learned.

1. slow the f*#! down. go with the beat. it's easy to get excited and go faster than the beat.

2. remember to breathe. seriously this may seem like a no brainer, but i used to get so involved that i would hold my breath and forget to breathe. an easy thing to do is just to exhale or say something under your breath on every hit.

not all that different from boxing actually if you think about it. hope that helps
