yeah i have that problem too. try using a ellbow-pad or wear some clothes with much friction. jeans would be ok^^

...so your leg doesnt have to be straight?!
WACK!
my friend keeps telling me to extend my leg, so that throws my balance off hardcore.

When did I say "your leg doesnt have to be straight" ? i dunno if you see the pictures but my balancing-leg IS straight. its way easier to hold the balance with a straight leg.

DuoD, what do you recommend? When my knee slips off (it usually does, man..) it rubs against the back part of my elbow and it feels like it's burning every time I do it and it slips off.

Is there anything I can put on my elbow to make the feeling less painful?

maybe it would help to wear an ellbow-pad? do you practice 2 handed or 1handed? if 2 handed try to lean more forward a lil bit^^ your knee shouldn't slip of that way. practice this so you get used holding a airbaby. and if 1handed you should try to do it with an ellbow-pad to practice. but dont get used to that xD just use it as long as your skin needs to heal^^
