Strange, the last 2 replies have been removed.
@ aznbreaka: you say it's only after you hold a lot of stabbed freezes, so it shouldn't be a big problem. But if it's caused by stabbing in the ribs you do something wrong. The stabbing place of the freezes I described is by none of them in the ribs! Maybe it's caused by overstretching, in that case you'll probably grow over it over time. Always make sure you are warmed-up before! If you don't it can cause injuries. I never had pain in my ribs, so I don't know if it's normal. Hope it helped a bit. |

My guide is getting down and down, 2nd page it was, a lot of people asked for a sticky and I really appreciate that. I am glad you all (most of you) like my guide. This post is just to get it back on first page.

Great Guide. How long should it take me to learn each of these freezes now?

You'll probably get them in a couple of days if you practise hard, maybe even in one day. But don't be discouraged if you don't get them so quick, just practise hard and you'll be able to hit them soon.

I've been working mainly on the Turtle and Baby Freezes. I'm having some problems. First, is 6'4" and 195 lbs to tall to breakdance? I'm a good athlete so I'm in shape. On my turtle freezes, my elbows don't stab into anything. There's just nothing there. And on Baby Freezes, I'm stabbing into my lower right quad with my left elbow and it's getting pretty sore. And then my right elbow isn't stabbing into anything. Like my side/hips are rotating up and off of my right elbow. Am I just not flexible enough? Or what? Thanks for the help.

About your first question: I think it doesn't matter, I am around 6'2'' myself and I can do it too. Especially if you're in good shape it shouldn't be a problem at all. The 2nd problem... you should stab your elbows into your stomach wit turtle freeze. With your baby freeze flexibility isn't the problem, I am not flexible myself and still can do it. It's just a matter of getting used to it, but when you got it it's easy. Maybe you already got it in the meanwhile, but if you didn't and you want me to be more specific or you have any other questions... just ask me. |
