Just two retarded questions on the baby freeze.

I pulled the muscle in my left butt area (I'm guessing its the gluteus maximus) and it kinda keeps me from doing step 2 or 3, (whichever the one where you gotta put one of your legs straight and the other one is still crouched) of the baby freeze. So could I just go straight into the baby freeze and then position my legs?

And the second retarded question is, what is the final leg position of the baby freeze? On the video guide posted by bboy.org the guy just keeps scizzor kicking. Are you supposed to constantly do that? I thought it was a freeze where your legs ultimately stay in one position. I can hold the freeze, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing with my legs. (I am CCW, so I stab with my left hand btw)

1st off, your questions are not retarded, here are my answers:

Answer on 1st question:
I am not familiar with muscles, but yes you can do that. I just described it like that so it's very easy for a starter, or else I get questions like 'where should I put my right/left leg when I go into the freeze', but you don't necessarely have to put one of your legs straight.

Answer on 2nd question:
You have different positions in the baby freeze, but the way I do it in the picture/video is probably the most standard pose. You can scizzor between different poses if you like. Just do with your legs what you like most and switch positions if you like.

Maybe I'll add some different poses to the guide and maybe I can describe the baby freeze from a different way. But that may take some time.

Great guide, I'm trying to get some wrist strenght and balance from the freezes right now...but I have a question..

When you're doing turtle freeze, should you let the toes each other like in the image or like apart like in the video? or is it just your own style...I hope that made sense

It doesn't matter how you do it, like with all moves you can add your own style to it, but the turtle freeze is a basic for the turtle and for a turtle you should have your feet apart I think.
