its in your back...definitely in your back it is NOT a side freeze. it takes a lot of shoulder flexibility to be able to get your elbow that far back. a tip for it is just put your legs on a couch or somethin to hold them up so you dont hafta worry about balance and just stab your elbow where its confortable then slide it back as far as it can go. keep doin this and you'll get the flexibility for them. try to stick your spine if you can lol. another little tip...may sound kinda strange but it'll help you balance...one you can start hittin them a bit try moving your stabbed elbow as close to your ass as you can...it'll allow you to get your center of weight over your hand easier, and thus balance easier. hope this helped
