any easy freezes - 10-11-2003, 10:29 PM

does anyone know a really easy (and i mean easy im a noob) that i can learn cause im gettin pretty good at the footwork and swipes and stuff like that but i havent learned any freezes

man turtle freezes are the easiest freeze try them first i recon. wat does everyone else think?

damn man i think headstand freezes are the easiest (if ya got no arm strength of course, then the turtles)

i'll say that the baby freeze and chair freezez are pretty easy and good to start with,when u have them and have balance..try turtle freeze and handstands etc..

in that way u build your style..and make ure own variations of em..

could someody please put up pics of freezes and label them because im also new and i see people saying turtle freeze,chair freeze im sittin here like wtf???? and i cant really understand the descriptions. so please some post some pics

It is kind of a stretch. The turtle pose isn't used often by the
good people on the scene. Usually people go into a one handed
turtle pose and then spin, using their other hand to turn them around.
That move is called a float. What you probably need to do is spread your
arms out wider then sandwich them into the center of your body. If
you still can't try to do a one handed turtle....

baby freeze if fuckin hard. and turtle freeze shouldn't count as a freeze cuz you'll never actually use it in a battle or anything. it's just a prerequisite for floats. that 2-handed airbaby is easy enough, but not too hard.

work on pikes and some other one hand freeze
practice ur handstands and work on takin one hand off the ground and shifting ur body weight on to the side of hand u are balancing on
