well. when i first started halo freeze, my whole backhead was on the floor, which was bad but thats how i got it on my first try.
ummm idk that much to say but here it goes : you can just keep trying and trying and falling and falling til you get it,if you dont, pay close attention. Try to go from chair, which might be a lot easier at first, differs for everyone. make sure you're stabbing on your spine, legit your spine keep stretching. stretch ALOT you dont wanna pull anything in your back, it sucks. in chair, make sure you're stabbing your spine, and make sure both your legs are FLAT on the floor with the non stabbing hand free in the air. keep practicing chair until you get so comfortable that you can almost sleep in it. Then, put your unstabbing arm behind your head, just stretch it like how you would for invert. Stretch it as far as you can. then you have two choices. keep tapping from the floor to get up, fall, and get up or slowly lift your legs up both work fine, its just the matter of what type of learner you are. you can start out like how i did with the whole back head, or you can try to stay at the top of your head. I just kept on doing it, which helped me stand on the tip of my head. your neck will kill lol Keep practicing and stretch. If you get it so well, you'll be so comfortable in it. I can do halo freeze so much longer than regular freeze lol and one handed hanglide longer than my freeze as well. If you're wondering about roll back hong 10, dont worry too much, it'll come to you |

Back of the top of your head. Shift hips. Shift legs. Press fingers into ground= tense muscles to hold balance.
Remember to breathe. Use abs. |

try recording yourself.
this may be a week old thread but i just started on hong10s about a half week ago. i was about to post up a video of me trying to hold the freeze asking for help, but after watching myself fail miserably and comparing it to the arm positioning, the turn of twist in the mid section, and the start up into it, i began to hold it longer if you don't have a camera or phone to record yourself you could always get someone to spot you or find a ridiculously convenient mirror just like aznmattk said, just fail and fall until you find your sweet spot |
