Forearm stall recommended for blowups? -
11-03-2009, 08:06 PM
I want to learn blow ups like elbow ups and stuff like that, but it seems like a pretty daunting task to 'master' the forearm freeze (it's like going through hell to get handstands AGAIN). Do you guys think I should just go directly to transitioning between forearm freezes and handstands, or should I learn to hold the forearm freeze for 10sec+ before learning the transitions?

definitely not necesarily....
elbow hops/handhops would be usefull but honoustly stuff like elbow up ...1hand elbow airchair....you just need a good kick and be able to hold each freeze decently. |

dont necessarily have to hold any freeze for 10+ sec to do it for blowups transitions. but for elbow stalls, i would say just get into a 2 handed elbow freeze and shift your weight to your elbow, thats it. short description taht involves lots of practice. haha

practice doesnt make you perfect, it makes you better
move WIP: handstall. |

not necessary, a stall of 2~3 seconds, a good kick, and control is pretty much all you need.
