Here’s the story: next Wednesday (September 10), its this girl’s birthday and I wanna do something ….”special” for her and I thought I could do a bboy rountine or something for her.

Something like this: spell out the words “happy birthday” or happy bday with my body using freezes, ya know? Lol (I know….. bboyings a dance u enjoy, not show off to a girl but………. I just thought itll be cool since im a bboy an all……)

Ummmm. Wat I mean by that is you know when u do a handstand? If u split ur legs to the side, it spells “y” and so on and so forth.



So here’s the challenge: PLEASE help me do this. Help out a fellow bboy do something special for a special someone.
I need exactly what I said above: spellin out letters “happy birthday” using freezes.

Bboys: I know this sounds all……. Kinda corny/stupid/whatever u wanna call it but hey: its wat I wanna do for her.
The problem is I dunno how (by how, I mean I dunno how to do the spelling out thing) to do this and also……… the fact that I’m not that good at bboying. I can foot work a bit and toprock decent and I know the freezes: baby, head and handstand, elbow, and … a bit of airbaby.
I really really need your help. Im not forcing anybody to do this and I don’t wanna hear that “why should I” or “this shit is gay” stuff. I just thot that other bboys would be a great help.

OH! And for DJs: can ANY, ANY dj make a “happy birthday” song remixed with a break beat?

PS: I suck at powermoves. I hate them and I don’t got time to learn them. I know from experience: powermoves need time, not just 10 hours or practice everyday. Im not tryin to be impatient but I need to do a good job at doin this “event” for her! Oh: and I learned that I’m good at learning freezes than anything else. If I need to learn a hard freeze, I don’t care. I’ll do my best to learn it.

spelling that out is pretty hard. but if you have some digital editing skills it wouldn't be too hard. for example for the H. take 3 pictures to form it up. 2 of them are handstands to form the l l and then u just make ur body go parallel (like a turtle with legs straight) to make the -. u combine the 3 pictures; l, l, -. and u get an H

You want to make like a picture collage of yourself doing a bunch of different freezes making a "Happy Birthday"?

Or you actually want to put together a routine and do each letter one after another?

Personally, I think the picture thing could work, but the routine would be hard to come up with in like 8 days unless you went mad hard.

wow yea thats tough man, i don't see how you could make an actual routine but spellin out the letters can't be that hard. i have a crude idea for the h: do a shoulder freeze, spread you're legs (but not into a whole y) and horizontally put your arm between them, so its like \-/ only a bit better if it can be done. for the a...thats easy. P...thats tough...maybe a 1-handed handstand, grab your foot to make the shape? y is obvious...and so on

Christ son.... for your song my suggestion is just lay "Apache" over "Happy Birthday" quick solution that should be good enough... as for the 'freezes'...



Don't like mine? Then come up with your own crap... I just wasted like 30 minutes of my life doing this...

P.S. I suggest you practice your ass off for this routine if you want it to be any level of quality, and I also suggest that if you want to do something like this for a girl in the future you A: make sure she's worth it and B: plan it more than 9days in advance.

Nice haha, I was actually in paint drawing out stick figures of freezes trying to come up with ideas to spell "Happy Birthday"

Maybe I'll post my ideas later.
