Freestyle by yourself...

You have nothing interesting to say so you write about yourself

if you're talking about trying to "hear yourself" and crit your flow/liks after the fact, then just record yourself on the computer. or if you have the $$, invest in a handheld recorder.

but if you're talkin about just practicing and flowing to flow, then just... well, flow. you don't always need a beat, sometimes you can have a beat in your head.

hhhhmmmmm. well you can just look around your room and freestyle about the first thing you see. for example a lamp, then see how long you can freestyle about that thing without getting too much off topic. when you cant think of anymore things to say about that topic look around your room and start again. beat or no beat i works either way.

< verb

if ya just starting off, topic freestyles like jrod has mentioned would be difficult for ya, you can use the object in rhyme, but just say just about anything, whether it makes sense or not........you have to train your brain to think quickly.......thats pretty much it.......

^That's exactly what I did first. Don't worry about getting specific. Just.. flow. Think of rhyming words and vocalize them into sentence and bars. Once you can think quickly then move on to flowing about topics and other things.

I actuallty reccomend getting a cheap ass dictaphone, i always carry one wherever i go, u never know when you gonna kick a free you might wanna hear again, and it also means when u start cypherin with other cats over beats or a beatboxer u can record a rough copy to save for later
