^ Gotta say I have to agree. I'd be glad to jump on a track that has a cool concept behind it but I'm not really a fan of just doin a free verse

Also, probably not gonna have that track done today or anytime soon. Not feelin the track anymore and rap's been frustratin me lately. Just gonna focus on freestylin for awhile try to develop my own style. Not quitting, just redirecting my music for a time period.

Honestly, I record on a 20$ computer mic and get pretty good quality out of it. It's all about your production skills. Just search for some tutorials on mixing in CEP. They aren't gonna make you a professional mixer or have your shit sounding clear but they're good for what you want them for.

Not much, at least Audacity has VST support. TBH they're both wack as fuck for the cheap ass mufuckers up in here, get Reaper, the trial version retains full functionailty from teh off, so you don't ACTUALLY have to pay for it

Yes Khaled i'm talking about that, and tbh if you find that confusing, quit music, because that's a pretty standard DAW format so if you can't use it well you're never going to make good music without paying for a studio, and as you can't afford a mic right now, studio's aint gon happen, ya dig? Reaper kicks the SHIT out of CEP without even trying, it has VST support, a better sound engine and it also "feels" nicer when you use it. I love how you people act like you wanna be good at this shit then come out with "it looks confusing" "it's too hard" type comments. What? Did you think this shit was easy? Yes, you can make tracks easily without too much trouble, but at the end of the day (and no offence to y'all) you gonna sound like all the rest of the newer heads on here with poor as fuck production sounds (guess what guys, the mic doesn't do everything by it's self )

no previous experience with music is what makes me think it's confusing... and Im working on getting things worked out atm but it's all good. I'll download it when I got my mic and test it out and learn it.
it's the organization that makes it look confusing, theres mad buttons and displays, but I'll get it... i do more harder shit, just not music wise.
and the samson c01u sounds good for some people and not for others. Is there a reason for that? Might it be the "Phantom (or however you spell it) Power" from the computer is too weak and isn't projecting the sound and getting it all or what exactly?

its probably mostly production and just settings on the mic, i think a few times ive used it i've had the volume too high and that fucked it up. And my earlier stuff with it i didn't know wtf i was doing with production.
