Me and a freind are discussing what an MC is. I told him it was a rapper, rapping to a DJ beat/rythem.. And now he's saying that these guys in techno songs (the ones who say lots of things) also has to be an MC.. So im woundring.. caus im not that sure if you can call them MC's or what. Im not that good in this element, so what would you call a real MC?

cats at parties who rhyme over fast beats like jungle and shit are still MC's....not sure what exactly you mean but those cats are still MC's...just not hip hop MC.....a Master of Cerimonies is anyone at a specific event taking full attention on the stage....na'meen
