My poor tips/guide thing (whatever you call it) is in need of some serious renovations. Apparently as noted above, all the links are dead, and now i have to find them all...hurray. It'll take a while to get back into the swing of things, but I want to get this thing going again. A discussion forum for random questions would be really nice here, and could clear up some clutter on the footwork forum.
EDIT: OK I added some more tips in the battle section!! Sorry but I haven't updated the links yet...I will though I promise. To hold you all over I have presented a NEW discussion topic (its been a while). I will do these weekly and will document the pages that discuss them for people that want to read up on the replies. Once this is over, I will start a new topic and will create a "past discussions" section so the information is not lost. Now that I have resurrected this, I expect some thoughtful replies (nudge nudge). Peace! |

I just can't do footwork on my inner nuckles...
Now I'm afraid that I'll never be a able to speed up my footwork and it also just doesn't look clean because I do it flat handed Any suggestions or tips to speed up? |

If you get discouraged....Alien Ness: nuff said. You dont HAVE to do footwork on your inner knuckles to have fast and clean steps. Sure its easier in my humble opinion, but I've seen PLENTY of bboys do it flat handed. If you want to speed it up, I suggest going through all your steps hella slow. You'll kinda have to figure out how to speed it up by playing with your body. But the key will lie in the hips, so with that....godspeed

Haha, nice. I remember this thread. Nothing but sickness and dope tips. Highly recommend this extensive guide to everyone who has no idea what the fuck is going on about footwork.

Hey as long as you guys remember that it took a LOT of dope kats who knew way more than I did to make this guide...its all good. This shit would be half as long if it wasn't for them. So again, everybody that contributed, thanks...yall are sick.
To everyone reading this tip compilation, thanks for the feedback and keep your questions coming. This will always remain a work in progress, so if you have something to add feel free to put it on here. |
