i just recently started serious gettin into the whole bboy scene. i have a strong toprock and when i drop i can start with a 6 step, but i quickly get sick of this and just kinda come up with my own steps. is this looked down on? i just cant seem to stay in a routine, i wanna freestyle on the ground the same way i freestyle the top rock. should i avoid this and have more planned routine or is freestyle the way to go?

Yeah make up your own steps, shows style, something I have and something BBoy Hyper wants but lacks. And oh yeah, don't teach others your moves, since they might try to burn you with it (remember Hyper?)! Hahaha. And Upgee can own Baek any day with his eyes closed and a broken leg.

As much as you try to keep freestyling, eventually you'll hit upon a number of "techs" that you like to do, and you'll start using them a lot and improving on them and all that. So yeah, make up your own shit, that's what a lot of bboys lack and that's what separates bad footworkers from good footworkers. That, and practice haha.
