How do I turn while in a turtle? - 12-27-2003, 11:44 AM

I've been working on walking in a turtle but I can only go forward and backwards and when I go to turn I lean to much one way and i'll fall or I'll have to pull back up to balance myself.

Any tips.

well...if you can walk forwards and backwards spinning should come easily...when you walk you have to shift your weight to one side and pick up your hand. sooo...instead of shifting your weight and moving your hand forward move it in a spinning motion......read the turtle guides in this forum...it should help

and it might take some time to build up balance...try shifting your weight a little less or slow down

Vin Diesel and the Internet - relation? I THINK SO

Vin Diesel invented the internet while trying to steal cable TV.

Contrary to popular belief, it was in fact Vin Diesel who invented the internet. Al Gore stole the designs when Vin fell asleep at his keyboard.

If you want to go CCW, you should point your left hand's fingers at your left knee. If you can only go backward and forward, it sounds like your fingers are pointed out to the side. That's wrong, your left hand's gotta point toward your left knee so that you can rotate on it. Yep.

actually since u start with ur hands pointing out the to the sides, its not wrong, he just isnt doing the second part of it which is turning on his hand, which would be obvious since hes not turning and he need to.

Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.

If your other elbow is a bit outside and you try to lean over to that elbow, you'll miss (cuz it's outside). You can just keep your weight on one stabbed elbow and hop around. Crickets. Yeah.

lift your right hand first and put it down in another place. then put your weight onto your right elbow so you can lift your left hand. then put your weight back into your left elbow, lift the right, place it, and repeat. my bad for not capitalizing anything, i'm eating donuts and it's hard to press shift and the letter i wanna capitalize with the same hand. =]
