balance problems with right hand - 09-20-2003, 08:33 PM

it seems im pretty much a left hander when it comes to freeze's and handglides, so when i tried turtles i noticed i would always lean to the right from messed up balance. Possibility if i work on my right hand enough trying to balance, il get the hang of it? or am i just gonna be a failure. im posting this to know if i should continue trying or im just wasting my time. thanks guys.

You're not wasting time trying to dance if it's something you want to do.

I have some pretty decent balance so I can say if you're having trouble balancing period you need to work on all 4 limbs arms and legs.

Try holding freezes and leaning to the opposite side for an extended period of time. Keep doing this and build up your time. If one side is weaker then the other......hold that side longer.

Legs- stand on one foot as long as you can...lean forward, backward, stand on logs, raise your legs and switch fast and see if you can hold it.

Advice: go to the gym and build strength...strength can and will help your balance and your breaking.

One life one tribe one love one blood
Too much has been shed its time to rise above
You don’t have to understand it and you dont have to like it
But were much more powerful when we're UNITED
Ignorance fight it Knowledge embrace it
Have sympathy for people who too scared to change shit
Dont talk it just live it
Enjoy life absorb every minute
Quit placing the blame
Put your mind towards change
Hold the torch, light the flame, make a difference
One love one nation lets get uplifted

it could be more mental then even know as well....u dont need a lot of "hand" balance....n ur holding urself up with ur arm as well n while ur turning u arent on ur hand that long. it should get better with practice

Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.

Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.
