yeah.. I'm having trouble holding myself up. I cna't seem to be able to tuck my elbows under my hips/guts. Does this require alot of arm strength?

No, this doesn't require alot of arm strength it's all about stabbing(putting elbow into stomach around hips) and balance. To prove that it's not arm strength once you get it down you don't have to flex your arms at all.
things you need to do: 1. PRACTICE 2. change slightly to make it work better for you(elbow placement, leg placement, etc..) find out these through more practice. 3. Read the guide again 4. REPEAT Help me out if im missing something or incorrect everyone. |

.. turtles require a fair bit of praktice ... eventually thers no pain in ur gut or wrists ... after you get the movements u get better at them the problem is u myt even start getting too quik and you cant control it any more .. and ur arms dont have 2 b really strong turtles are more about balance let alone strength

Ive been practising turtles for just one day.. When you guys say "put your elbow in your stomach" is that on the "stomach muscles" or do you place the elbow on your hip-bone?
Think ive been on the bone alittle, cuz it hurts like hell there ![]() |

It depnds on different ppl, It usaully should be at least near the abs or the hips at least. You noe what pisses me of in ppl who are doing thier turtles lately? They keep sliding thier hand everytime as if it was some handglide thing. It's suppose to be a rotation and move your hands up and down at the same time.

control. learn how to put control on yourself and your speed, for some people gettin the speed is the hard part... my friend can get the turtle down, jus that he's goin to slow so he's now workin on gaining speed
