planches take a lot of strength, so being able to straighten your arms and keep balance will take a shit load of arm strength

lean foward
-O <- head
/ <- arms

solarwind is wrong, bending your arms takes a lot more strength than straightening them and locking them

I have : 6-step

Working on : Airflares

yep it takes more strenght doing it with bend arms but it IS harder to do it with straight arms becuz it takes more balance and wrist flexibility.

YAY!! I learned how to pike my freezes xD

The 'Elite' Planche Guide™
If you haven't seen it. If you've never practiced with straight arms you should start from the basic frogstand then continue with the progression. Don't over do it, it takes time. Took me 7 months to get straddle planche and I'm still having a bit of trouble with it.

I had the same problem and the wrist flexability is really hard as hell i'm almost to the point where I can do a planche push up but the hold requires too much focus i can rock like from side like junior

The best is yet to be discovered and always advancing so is there truly a one person best?
