How to Elbow Flare Guide.
OK!! I`d like to introduce myself. My name is Hassan Sami Dweikat, living in Jordan, 21 yrs old, aka TNT aka Infected. One of the most rare n amazing moves in bboy world,, ELBOW FLARE !!!! Call it E-Flare.. wo0o0000o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o000o0o00o0o0 READ IT ALL !! B4 i go into it, i`ll go in CW, if ur CCW reverse the HANDs n LEGs. U must gotten perfect flare so it gonna be easy to practice on. Some elbow freezes.... >> elbow pike on both hands, especially on the left hand for CW, for more concentration and balance, (elbow swipes, superman windmills - no need but it kinda helps eflare easier. I actually have 2 eflares, n i injuried my elbow coz i practice on it alot.. << with love..btw wear safety (things the u put on ur elbow i dunno what to call it.. hehe) so u wont get injury. Easy to go on eflare from 1st flare helps gaining more momentum, better than eflares in start position,, lil harder. While doin 1st flare n b4 goin 2nd flare, just lean ur body forward like ur attacking n puttin right hand elbow down the floor, asif ur goin to windmill. Tips: When u start the first flare remember to keep ur hips lower to the floor so the hips in back position is high, better momentum for eflare. Kick ur LEFT leg TO the BACK n TO the FRONT in same time, pressure on the right elbow will increase, now kick hardly ur right leg (almost hits the floor). Tips: Confunsing right? No it`s easy. REMEMBER kicking left leg back gain u more momentum. Left leg for Balance and Mumentum, Right Leg for Power n speed. NOW, continue to windmill, learn to decrease pressure on right elbow shway shway (means a bit in arabic) Land on ur upper right should so ur back wont hit the floor Tips: There is secret continuing to windmill, that ur back will hit the floor n u`ll feel like u almost jump from ur right elbow (very high pressure). REMEMBER, windmill position is in the FRONT not to the side, else ur doind only flare to windmill. HIPS to the front !!!!!!! When u get rid of this, NOW !! ur left hand is the hard thing, i injuried my L.elbow twice coz all my body`s wieght on it. I`ll talk in slow motion. While landing one left hand, to decrease the pressure kick right leg fast toward the head.. almost u gonna hit ur face -.-" Here is most of the problems,, LEFT LEG HITs the Floor !!! and i got tips for this Tips: THE more ur left elbow is beside ur body the more ur left leg will be high. USE ur hips as a pillow, its ok if hips hit floor at first. Kick ur right leg to ur face n to the BACK very HARD. Congragulation for ur first eflare it helps me to improve my flares.. notice that after 1st eflare u must stab on ur right hand and go into flare and repeat the eflare NOW !!! for the 2nd eflare Right elbow down, kick ur right leg while kicking the left leg towards ur face. NOW!! Delay ur left elbow when u land it. I know it will hit the ground hardly, but practice on it again and again until u make it . The importatnt thing is UR HEAD !! Keep LOOKING UPPPPPPPPPPPPPP !!!!!!! automatically ur hips and back will go up !! use ur head !! kick ur right leg to ur face while kicking ur left leg back with the help of ur hips to the right side . Tips: Practice for a while on elbow planche i cant do it but i can freeze for at least millisecond. Delaying ur left elbow so u can catch ur body easily. HEAD UPWARD, LOOK UP !!! so ur BACK and HIPS goes up, for continuing ANY Questions !!! awesome guide i actually have a problem with flare now , i guess i should start learning e-flare, it sound much easier than normal flare , but flare needs a lot of muscles , i'm now working on my headstand with some leg bending trying to build some muscles in my torso, we should hang out sometime maybe u could show me how to master the flare , i'll finish my exams at 21/8 and i might register at flex in 7th circle ( close to my home) . but all in all great guide espcailly the parts that are imp. for building momentum , i'm sure it would help those who are now learning flares.
