Most people will argue they are the same move, think of it like this:

If you were to do a halo(tracks) without ur head, you would obviously have to straighten ur arms a little more and get more height, now if u were to perform a 'halo' with these modifications, you have done an airtrack.

Now think of the flare, if u had nice flares and were able to flare nice and high, a time would come when you would think 'what if i skipped the front part?'. So what you end up doing is twisting out from the planche position out into the air and then catching back in the high planche position, so it appears you did the front part in the 'air' hence an airflare.

..but both moves use practically the same technique, some might argue there are tiny variations in them, such as, airflares, you invert and hop, whereas airtracks you use a smoother windmill style approach, but they are the same move, just depends how you do it. Kujo does distinctly 'lower' airtracks (more horizontal spin) as opposed to Ruens higher 90-style airtracks.

remember airswipes are the same thing too. Basically the same technique is used to do them continuous. You get a lot of variations too, like open and closing the legs while airborne, hopping them, grabbing a foot, grabbing ur knees etc..

the names are the same .

but just to tell u that the better discriptive word woplod be "airflares", becuase if u really look at em , the hand placement in airflares is exactly the same in flares, it is just a bit different because instead of kicking your face in flares, u kick into the "air" just enough to catch back your hands with airflares to keep momentum.

someone told me that an airtrack was more horizontal and more of a one at a time movve since u dont have much space or time to do it again

Air flares to my beliefs look better than tracks cause u can easily connect other things to them

Also both can come out of flare but i think that a air track is more of a beggining move one your way to doin airflares
