ur almost there, keep practicing..

compare ur flare vid to a proper flare, what differences are there..well one obvious, and one subtler..

the obvious one is you need to lean more at the back, and this second tip i'm gonna give u will do just that and help you continue them..

Now, i worked hard for hours on flares to learn these techniques, so i would appreciate it if you mention my name if you past them on!!

Now listen to this carefully: The flare consists of two swings, yes just two swings(two big circular swings anyway). Leg swings low to the ground comes up to kick the side of your head AND carry on the swing as if ur trying to propel it in a circle forwards, this causes active flex! at the same time, swing other leg under low to the ground, bring up to swing to side of ur head and propel in a circle backwards!!bring other leg under low to the ground, swing to side of head and propel forwards in a circle and so on!

u will feel a much better lift in the hips when u do this, even if u don't concentrate on ur hips, although whilst doing the move i described you should have the hips in mind too and try and just keep em high (not that compicated don't worry)

keep the circles u draw with ur legs big and wide and low to the ground when needed, u won't believe how important it is to swing low to the ground b4 it comes up again.

Now practice lots, you have to condition ur body to flares a little, but this comes through with practice..Once u get them u'll wonder what all the fuss was about!

U look older than me, i thought that older people are stronger than those tha are young. O well guess i was wrong hmmm hmmm i think you should try swing your hips harder ...

ahhhhhh never mine im having kind of the same problem but a little more problems... sorry if i post this little thing up waste of your time lol

well, i did capoeira for 4 years, now its been 3 years since i stopped, there are several moves in breakdancing as we all know from that martial art, such as the l-kick the valdez floor flip, the moves i hate, i masterd them and dislokated my should twice doing them, 2 months no breaking

ok as u already saw comming, i learned to mini flare, to kick someones knees out of balance or even crushing it from the inside of the knee
We needed to kick REAL HARD, and that seems to be ur problem i think, u dont kick hard enough the second time, and u lose ur momentum, try leaning a little back to but not to much, and turning around allitle, u dont like to windmill at the saime place to
thats all i can say

actually, i have a big problem with syth on this.

Like airflares, theres more then one way to do flares. u can kick n swing, swing and swing and constantly kick. Actually the best flares kick 4 times, not just swing twice. you get more speed, more power, more height and makes it easier to combo. hip waglers arent very respected actually.

Swining low isnt always an issue, its swinging in proportion to the rest of your flares.




Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.

Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.

this might help u ALLOT, when ur legs are going to ur back, try to lift ur right hand as high as u can, as u are trying to touch the ceiling, it will increase ur momentum bigtime, but u have to do it fast, its hard to get used to, but it helped out me allot, about the the hip waglers, style is what u concider AFTER u learned the move, and not before

hip waglers still suck lol

and lifting ur hand is nice, but u also have to remember to tel them that the higher u bring ur arm, the faster u need to bring it down....FASTER

man..u have the same problem as mine..i only can do one flare..then i cannot do next one..juz becuz i dont know how to use my hips...
o ya..beside...have u made ur 90s from mill clip?
