if your going straight up and down, remember, IT'S A CIRCLE! your jumping it probably..you don't wanna fly up and then fall. what goes up must come down. so therefore, go out and around. sure, that's the phrase of anubis, but there's no better way to describe it. can't help you with getting to the back though, I don't get enough height to keep going. sorry.
actually, flares become easier to understand once u know to keep both legs straight, swinging, and keep rotating your hips always! it also helps if u step forward, then take a long step back before u start your kick, u get alot more momentum this way (i do anyways) but just keep practicing and u will get them. they dont just come after 1 day of practice.
