Hey this is my weak attempt at flarez... i dunno what i need to do to get them down... i got my start off good at least i think i do!! lol ne ways if anyone knows what i am doing wrong or what i can do to get them lemme know plz!!!

Wutz good? ight the start of ur flare looks ight. When u swing ur right leg 2 start ur flare u gotta go in a circle motion and at da same time bring ur left leg almost up 2 ur face. Then swing ur left leg leg under ur right (right leg must b high so u can get high in da back of ur flare so u can make it around easier). So now ur in da back of ur flare (hopefully lol), now bring left hand down and swing ur right leg under ur left leg (keep da left leg high) so u can make it 2 da front again and place right hand down and continue the steps 2 get multiple flares.

It look for me like you just start the flare and just fall down in the front, your hand hits the floor at the same time hour hip is going down.. One of the most important things with flares, is that your arms have to be a little before the rest of your body, else you fall down.
Try to : start the flare, when you are at the side (ready to go inn), try to move your hip opwards (so it kinda go from a little low on your left side, and high on you right side. And for you legs: use ure hip to control them, but also use the legs to gain more momentum, stretch them out all the time!

ok i gave that shot and when i do what u did i does help me out a little bit but not enough to do it... when i do what u had posted i come around and when my legs are coming around i land in a push up position... what am i doing wrong?!

well, a common mistake is to do the movement to small. Give evrything you have, and try to make the circular moting big, kick you legs harder than you do..
but do you think you can upload a little clip. it's easyer to help you if I could see what you do wrong

you're driving both legs at the same time..try one swing at a time, read my reply to presidents flare prob

jupp, that is smart, it also helps you on your own, you can easy see your mistake on tv etc

i think my problem might be my left leg... i dont think i kick it high enough ... im going to practice tyring to use my left leg more and i will make a video of it as soon as possible so maybe if i do or dont get them i can show u to help me... thx =D

Man....!!
my Problem is exactly like urs!!!!!!! only can do the miniflare so far...but not the full circle ..DAMN...
do u understand how to do it now?
cuz i've seen many readings..they all say..."raise ur hip, lock ur arm, kick hard...etc"
if u know it man,..can yo send me a email to tell me the idea of flare?

well, thats the way to do it, so I think you just have to practise more my problem when I learned it was that I was not use to do moves like this.. all my moves where "on the floor" like windmills, babys, turtle, spinns etc.. but when I started to practise air-freezes, handstands etc. I kind of came natural to do flares (well.. after some time, hehe, I think I used longer time than anyone to learn this move)
