Good Form on Flares" - 09-01-2008, 11:38 PM

Ive been flareing for a year or so..

i was commited back in these years.. but last week i started to be more commited..

Anyways it paid off though cause i got 7 flares. psk

but anyone know if the way to get good form of flares by training continuous then fixing your form later??

or just train your flare form first.

I really dont know but my form not sure but legs are spreaded out and everything but once i get to the back or sometimes a little near the side my legs fall psk.. and touches ground a lil well it touches a lil when i get to the side. but once i get to the back while my other hand is in the air after i just sweeped it touches so quick that once i put my hand back on the ground my legs are on the ground and i cant go into that slanted handstand position/Planche

You should have gained a lot of knowledge if you have been training the move for a year. Keep practicing and you will learn on your own what works for you. Don't ask for advice or tips on this site, you can figure everything out on your own if you keep working on it.

put up a vid, because we're here to help you improve. pointless, that is true that working it out for the little kinks of your own body will help, but we can help too. but i'm guessing your form just isn't right enough.

This is a gymnastics explanation so I don't know if you understand but here goes. When you're in the back of your flares it should be the same position as in a press handstand right before you bring your legs up but your butt is high.

If he is able to do flares he doesnt need our help. The form of your flares dont come from tips from other people, it comes from the amount of practice you put in.
